Welcome to an unforgettable Arctic adventure at Camp Tamok, your gateway to the wilderness. Immerse yourself in a variety of winter activities and captivating storytelling at Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park, set amidst the pristine nature and serene landscapes of Northern Norway.

Important Note: This option does not include bus transportation. Please arrive at Camp Tamok 15 minutes before the activity begins.

Upon arrival at the camp, you'll have the opportunity to freshen up and get outfitted in warm winter gear, including clothes and boots provided to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. Our camp host will guide you through the day's schedule.

Campfire Crafting:
Learn essential survival skills as your knowledgeable guide teaches you the art of building a campfire—vital for staying warm on a chilly winter's day. Experience the satisfaction of starting your own fire and gathering around it to enjoy warmth and light while listening to captivating stories about local life and Arctic culture. You’ll also have the chance to grill your own sausage over the open fire, accompanied by a warm soup and hot berry juice to keep you cozy outdoors.

Snow Adventures:
Get active and try navigating snow-covered terrain on tandem skis. Compete with another team for some added excitement! Discover the history and evolution of skis, from traditional transportation to modern recreational and competitive uses.

Tromsø Ice Domes Sculpture Park:
Explore the enchanting snow and ice sculptures within the Snow Park. Take your time wandering through a mesmerizing display of art, navigate the snow maze, and explore our two domes. Marvel at the stunning sculptures, illuminated by natural light and set against the backdrop of pristine Arctic landscapes.

Encounters with Arctic Wildlife:
Get up close and personal with two of Northern Norway's most iconic animals. Cuddle with our friendly huskies and visit the reindeer grazing near the park. Capture unforgettable memories with these incredible creatures.

Please be aware that this activity takes place entirely outdoors, exposing you to the Arctic winter elements. It's crucial to dress warmly and appropriately for the weather conditions to ensure your comfort. While we provide warm thermal suits and boots, it’s important to dress in layers and wear suitable winter clothing. Prepare to embrace the cold as part of this unique Arctic experience.
