Snowshoeing with Reindeer

A great way to enjoy the nature and get up close with the reindeer. Before starting the snowshoeing tour, you will have the opportunity to meet and feed a herd of reindeer. Then, you are provided with snowshoeing equipment (snowshoes, poles) and we take you on a snowshoeing tour to the hills near our camp. Finish the day by gathering around a fire and by enjoying a traditional meal.

ITINERARY

Pick up is at the bus terminal at Tromsø Havn Prostneset, (Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008, Tromsø - Google maps link)

Pick up time for the morning tour: 9.45

Pick up time for the afternoon tour: 12.45

• 30-35-minute bus drive to the reindeer camp

• Guests can meet and feed the reindeer

• Approximately 1 - 1.5-hour snowshoeing tour

• Warm lunch and hot drinks, cake and cookies (gluten free option available) inside a warm gamme (traditional Sami hut)

• 30-35 min bus ride back to Tromsø city centre. 

Return time for the morning tour: 14.00 - 14.15 in the city center

Return time for the afternoon: 17.00 - 17.15 in the city center
