Journey to Tamok Valley

Begin with a 1.5-hour bus ride from Tromsø city center to the remote Tamok Valley. Upon arrival, gear up in provided warm winter clothing and boots to ensure comfort throughout your stay.

Guided and Independent Experiences

Our camp host will guide you through the day’s activities. Participate in various experiences, some guided and others self-explored.

Campfire Crafting

Learn essential survival skills from your knowledgeable guide by crafting a campfire. Enjoy captivating stories about local Arctic lifestyle and culture around the fire. Grill your own sausages while we serve soup and hot berry juice to keep you cozy.

Snow Adventures

Get active navigating snow-covered terrain on tandem skis, racing other teams for excitement! Learn about the history of skis, from traditional transportation to modern recreation and competition.

Tromsø Ice Domes Sculpture Park

Explore the magic of snow and ice sculptures inside the Sculpture Park. Wander through mesmerizing displays, a snow maze, and two domes, marveling at the art brought to life by natural light and Arctic landscapes.

Arctic Wildlife Encounters

Meet the iconic animals of Northern Norway: cuddle and take photos with huskies and visit reindeers near the Sculpture Park.

Snow Carving Activity

Inspired by professional snow artists, create your own snow sculpture! With guidance from an instructor, use carving tools to sculpt a masterpiece from a large block of hard snow.

Return to Tromsø

After a fulfilling day, enjoy a comfortable bus journey back to Tromsø.

Important Information

This activity takes place entirely outdoors. Dressing warmly is crucial for comfort in Arctic winter conditions. We provide thermal suits and boots, but wearing layers and proper winter garments is essential. Prepare to embrace the cold for this unique Arctic experience.
