Experience an unforgettable snowmobile safari amid enchanting snow-covered mountains and dramatic landscapes. Learn to drive the "scooter of the north" in a snowy wilderness playground.
Note: This option excludes bus transportation. Please arrive at Camp Tamok 15 minutes before the activity.
Join us for an authentic experience at Camp Tamok, our wilderness center, just a 90-minute scenic drive from Tromsø's city center.
Upon arrival, receive warm clothes and gear for the snowmobiling activity. After safety instructions and a practical demonstration, drive your own snowmobile in pairs with the option to switch places during the trip.
After returning and parking the snowmobiles, enjoy a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around an open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. In peak season, the group might split to avoid large numbers, with half starting with the meal before heading into the mountains on snowmobiles.
After relaxing and warming up, your adventure comes to an end.

Good to know
Due to the dramatic topography, a reduced speed is maintained during some parts of the tour.
The duration of the snowmobiling activity (the time you will spend on the tracks, driving the snowmobile) can differ day to day, depending on snow and weather conditions.

Valid driver’s license.
Dressing in warm winter clothing and in layers so you can adjust your clothing to the weather.

Complimentary traditional Norwegian soup/stew (vegetables with meat or fish).
We serve bread, coffee, tea and water with the meal.

Please advise us during your booking of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
If no notice is given in advance, an extra fee of 150 NOK will be charged.
Restrictions
Age limit:
You need to be minimum 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license to operate a snowmobile.
Passengers needs to be minimum 7 years old.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
Drivers and passengers must be minimum 130cm in height to meet the safety requirements.
