Combine the thrill of advanced dog sledding through breathtaking Arctic landscapes with a captivating visit to Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.
Begin your adventure with a comfortable 90-minute bus ride from Tromsø city center to the remote Tamokdalen, where our wilderness camp is nestled.
Upon arrival at Camp Tamok, you’ll be greeted by your guide and equipped with thermal suits, boots, and gloves to ensure warmth and comfort. After a brief orientation on how to handle the sled, you'll set off on your exhilarating dog sledding journey!
During the sled ride, you'll share a sled with another guest: one will mush and guide the huskies through the snowy terrain, while the other enjoys the ride. Halfway through, you'll swap roles, giving both participants the chance to experience mushing and riding.
Following the sledding adventure, visit the dog yard and warm up with a hot meal and drink by the fire inside a Sámi lávvu (tent). A camp host will provide details for your next adventure: exploring Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.
In the Snow Park, immerse yourself in a wonderland of snow and ice sculptures, navigate a snow maze, and explore two stunning domes. Enjoy close encounters with Northern Norway’s iconic animals—cuddle with huskies and visit reindeer.
After your visit, board the bus back to Tromsø, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Arctic adventure and the enchanting snow art.
