Upon arrival at Camp Tamok, immerse yourself in the experience as you're equipped with warm clothes and all the necessary gear for the snowmobiling activity. Following this, our expert guides will provide safety instructions and a practical demonstration on how to operate your own snowmobile. Drive in pairs, allowing for the option to switch places during the journey.

After cruising back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, savor a delicious hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around an open fire inside a reindeer herder's tent. In peak season, the group might split for a more personalized experience, with half starting with the meal before heading into the mountains on snowmobiles.

After a relaxing and warming break, it's time to journey back to Tromsø, marking the end of your thrilling adventure and adding another unforgettable experience to your bucket list!

Practical Information

Good to know

Due to the dramatic topography, a reduced speed is maintained during some parts of the tour.
This tour is not focused on chasing the Northern Lights, but it offers a great chance of witnessing this natural phenomenon.
The duration of the snowmobiling activity (the time you will spend on the tracks, driving the snowmobile) can differ day to day, depending on snow and weather conditions.
Total duration of the tour, including transportation from and to Tromsø is 7 hours.

What to bring or wear

Valid driver’s license
Dressing in warm winter clothing and in layers so you can adjust your clothing to the weather.

Restrictions

Age limit:

You need to be minimum 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license to operate a snowmobile.

Passengers needs to be minimum 7 years old.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Drivers and passengers must be minimum 130cm in height to meet the safety requirements.
