Reindeer Sledding, Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park Visit - Excl. Transport

Combine the authentic experience of Sami culture and reindeer sledding with a magical visit to the Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.

Important Note: This activity does not include bus transportation. Please arrive at Camp Tamok 15 minutes before the activity begins.

Upon your arrival at Camp Tamok, your guide will warmly welcome you and provide essential gear, including thermal suits, boots, and gloves, to ensure your comfort and warmth throughout the day. Your adventure starts with a reindeer sledding experience.

As our reindeer herd is located some distance from the dog yard, the activity begins with a short transfer by minibus.

This cultural adventure features a brief reindeer sledding tour, storytelling about the fascinating Sami culture, and the opportunity to feed the reindeer. There are about 5-6 reindeer in the camp.

After the tour, you will return to Camp Tamok to relax and warm up by the open fire inside one of the lávvus (indigenous Sámi tents), enjoying a hot meal and drink. During your meal, a camp host will provide details on the second part of your day: the visit to Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.

Once inside the park, you'll explore the enchanting world of snow and ice sculptures. Take your time wandering through the mesmerizing displays, navigate the snow maze, and explore our two domes. Marvel at the stunning art illuminated by natural light, surrounded by pristine nature and peaceful Arctic landscapes. You'll also have the chance to get close to Northern Norway's most iconic animals: cuddle with our huskies and visit the reindeer near the park.
