Join in on the most fun part of our job and help us take our puppies out for training!
At Tromsø Villmarkssenter, our 200 Alaskan huskies include a cherished group of puppies, ranging from 4 weeks to 6 months old. Join our experienced handlers to train these young sled dogs. The adventure includes a 1 to 1.5-hour hike near the husky farm, where you’ll engage the puppies in age-appropriate exercises designed to develop their skills. Back at the center, enjoy a warm lunch as you reflect on the day. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the early training of future sled dogs and experience the joy of working with these energetic pups.

Guided hike with an experienced handler, where you will help us train our future racing superstars. The puppies are between 4 weeks and adolescence. Depending on their age, we will do different exercises to teach them teamwork with other dogs and humans. Healthy and fun for all parties involved.
Delicious lunch by the open fire in our cozy Gamme-hut; Bacalao- a fish dish that is part of the traditional Norwegian cuisine, with roots from the Portuguese culture. Coffee and tea.
Suitable for everyone. If you are traveling with small children/infants, use our transport and want a guaranteed car seat/car seat for your child, you must bring it yourself.
