Your journey begins with a scenic 1.5-hour bus ride from Tromsø city center to the remote Tamok Valley. Upon arrival, you'll have the chance to freshen up and gear up in the warm winter clothing and boots we provide, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay at the camp.

In smaller groups, you’ll engage in a range of exciting activities—some guided, others for you to explore at your own pace.

Campfire Crafting:
Learn essential survival skills from your knowledgeable guide, including how to craft a campfire, which is crucial for staying warm on a chilly winter’s day. Master the art of building an outdoor fire and gather around its warmth as you listen to fascinating stories about the local lifestyle and Arctic culture. Grill your own sausage over the open fire while we serve warm soup and hot berry juice to keep you cozy outdoors.

Snow Adventures:
Get active by navigating snow-covered terrain on tandem skis. Compete with others for added excitement and learn about the history and evolution of skiing, from its roots as a traditional mode of transportation to its modern-day sporting significance in Norway.

Ice Domes Snow Sculpture Park:
Explore the magical world of snow and ice sculptures within the Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park. Wander through the park at your leisure, marveling at the stunning art created from ice, snow, and light.

Encounters with Arctic Wildlife:
Meet two of Northern Norway's most iconic animals—huskies and reindeer. Enjoy close encounters, take photos, and learn about these fascinating creatures.

After a day filled with adventure and exploration, you'll enjoy a comfortable bus ride back to Tromsø, which will take approximately 1.5 hours.

This activity takes place entirely outdoors, so you'll be exposed to the Arctic winter elements. It's essential to dress warmly and appropriately for the weather to ensure your comfort. While we provide thermal suits and boots, dressing in layers and wearing proper winter attire is crucial to fully enjoy this Arctic experience.
